Damage done by delivery company.
Head-stock taken a hit.
Packaging had all the chips of paint
& bits of wood inside.
Worst delivery of a guitar ever.
Packaging was good, obviously been thrown around.
Only one point of guitar is good all rest have damage.
More chips of paint.
Original damage done by previous owner.
Previous owner took a chunk out of fret-board on 3rd fret.
After some anger management, I plugged in & luckily sounded awesome.
Tuned to E standard, there was some high frets creating string buzz,
after a rocker check on all frets,
in 3 locations of each fret.
Found the two high spots, using a fret guard and masked off, used file and fret rocker until level.
Used fret erasers to smooth out all frets and cleaned up.
Had been stood a while, was dirty and fret-board had seen some use.
After 2 passes with lemon oil, fret-board cleaned up great.
After 2nd pass of lemon oil. fret-
board was hydrated and brought some life back in to the Rosewood.
Never seen these dials used before
on a BC Rich! maybe after market ones.
Whole body work got 3 step cleaning & new 11-46 strings.
All machine heads got a good clean,
all in really good condition with seals still intact..
After cleaning and setup.
The BC rich Bich is definitely my favourite shaped guitar in the BC Rich range.
sounds awesome, wont be the last one in my collection.
